People commonly use it as supplementation, alongside resistance exercise, to help improve muscle protein synthesis and promote the growth of lean tissue mass.
There are many benefits associated with the consumption of whey protein such as it helps repair breakdown of muscles and also helps to loose body fat and greater preservation of lean muscle. Whey protein also lowers cholesterol levels in body as compared to casein protein. It can improve immune system and also by lowering blood pressure whey reduces risk of cardiovascular disease.
